A Brief History Of PGA Tour of Australasia

The PGA Tour of Australasia is a professional golf tour for men. The tour was formed in 1973 as the PGA Tour of Australia and adopted its current name in 1991. Official events on the tour count for World Golf Ranking points.

The PGA Tour of Australasia is governed by a Board of Directors elected by its members. The Board is comprised of five PGA Tour members , two non-member directors and a representative from the PGA of Australia. A Player Sub-Committee, consisting of each of the member directors, advises the Board of all player related issues.
