The Dapto greyhound racing track is located on the Princess Highway at the Dapto Showgrounds. The track offers car parking and also offers camping and kenneling facilities for trainers that are traveling with their dogs. Bookmaker and TAB facilities are available at all race meetings, and meetings are also covered by Sky Channel for viewing around Australia. Racing Information The dapto Greyhound Racing Club holds race meetings on Thursday nights. There is a veterinary service available at all race meetings. Dapto racing club has one recess each year at varying times. Nominations Nominations close at 1.00pm on Mondays before race meetings and the box draw is done at around 3.00 on the same day. Kennelling Time Kenneling times for night races are from 5.50m to 6.35pm for the first race between 7.05pm and 7.30pm depending on the number of races scheduled for that meeting. Trials Solo and half-field trials are run over each distance with public trials available on Mondays and Fridays between 7.00am and 9.00am. Private trials can be booked on Mondays or Fridays after 9.15am. |
