The Dubbo Greyhound Racing track is located on Wheelers Rd at Dubbo. car parking is avialable both inside and outside the grounds. Camping and kennelling facilities are available for travelling trainers and their greyhounds. Bookmakers and TAB facilities are availabe at the track during race meetings for locla and TAB races. Video replays of all races are shown at the track and are available to owners and trainers. The club operates a canteen at the track for snacks and refreshments. Racing Information Racing meetings are held on Thursday nights from October to March and Saturday afternoons from April to December. Teh club holds a recess during January and December. The kennels are two-tiered and are air conditioned. A veterinary service is available on call for race meetings. Nominations Nominations for race meetings close at 7.30 pm on Mondays before race meetings with the box draw being done at the track on Tuesdays. Kennelling Time Kennelling times for day meetings are from 11.30am until 12.15pm for the first race at 1.00pm and for night meetings from 5.45pm until 6.20pm for the first race at 7.00pm. Trials Public trials are avialble on Sunday Mornings from 8.00am in Summer and from 9.00am in winter. Full field trials are available before race meetings with half field and solo trials available after races. Private trials are available by appointment and are held on Sundays after public trials. Private trials can also be booked for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings between 8.00am and 12.00pm. |
