The Grafton Greyhound Racing Club hold their Carnival Of Racing during July every year. The carnival attracts 1000's of greyhound racing enthusiasts for two very hectic weeks of greyhound racing action. The Racing Club operates a caravan park adjacent to the racing course which turns into a thriving metropolis during the peak racing times. Car parking is also available inside the grounds. Camping faclilities are available for travelling trainers and kenneling is available for greyhounds. Bookmakers and TAB facilities are well established at the club with races avialable from three states. Video replays of races are available to owneres and trainers. The club operates a snack bar and a bar at the track. Racing Information Race meetings are held during the day on Saturdays. Vetereinary services are on call for race meetings. The kennel block is two-tired and is air conditioned. Nominations Nominatiosn for race metings close at 8.00am on the Wednesday before the race meeting. Kennelling Time Kennelling times are from 12.00am until 12.45pm for the first race at 1.15pm. Trials Public trials are available on Tuesday afternoons from 5.00pm. Booked trials are available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8.00am. |
