Lithgow Greyhound Racing Track

The Lithgow Greyhound Racing Track is located around 145km from Sydney. Car parking is available at the track. Camping facilities are available for travelling traniers and kennelling is available for greyhounds.

Bookmakers operate at the track for race meetings as well as ful TAB facilities and betting is available on both greyhound and horse races.

Video replays of the races are shown at the track and are available if required.

The track offers a full kiosk to their patrons for hot and clod food and drinks.

RAce meetings are held on Saturday mornings and afternoons. A full veterinary service is on call for race meetings. The kennels are two-tiered and are not air conditioned.

The Lithgow Greyhound Racing Club holds a recess during July and September and also during December and January.
Nominations
Nominations close at the track at 8.00am on the Wednesday before race meetings.
Kennelling Time
For 16-race meetings the kennelling times are from 11.00am until 12.00pm for the first race at12.45pm.

For 24-race meetings the kennelling times for races 1 to 8 are from 8.30am until 9.00am and for races 9 to 24 are from 11.15am intil 12.15pm for the first race at 9.30am.
Trials
Trials are available on Tuesdays and Sundays from 9.00am until 10.00am. Private trials are avialable all days by appointment only.

Full field, half field and solo trials are available over all distances. Trials are available into the pen or on the arm.
