The Moree Greyhound Racing Track is located at the Moree Racecourse on the Newell Highway. Car parking is available inside the grounds. There are camping and kennelling facilities available for travelling trainers and greyhounds. There are Tote facilities as well as two bookmakers operating at the track at race meetings for local events as well as other horse racing meetings. Video replays are available to owners and trainers as required after the conculsion of racing. The track offers a snack bar for hot and cold snacks and drinks as well as a fully air conditioned dining room. Racing Information Race meetings are held on Saturday afternoons and some public holidays. There is no veterinary service available at the track. The kennel block is two-tiered and is not air conditioned. The Moree Greyhound Racing Club holds a recess during January and early February. Nominations Nominations for race meetings close at the club at 9.00am on the Tuesday before race meetings. The box draw is done on Wednesday at the track. Kennelling Time Kennelling times are from 12.30pm until 1.30pm for the first race at 2.00pm Trials Trials are available on Saturday mornings before race meetings and Sundays commencing at 9.00am. Half-field and solo trials are available. Trials are available over all distances into the pen. Trials are also available at other times by appointment. |
