The track is situated at the Royal Showgrounds, Glenorchy about 10km from the capital city Hobart. Entrance is from Howard Road that runs parallel to the complex. Ample Car parking available inside the grounds. Sky Channel, Bookmaker and a full tote operate on all race meetings. Video replays run continuously and videos of all races are available on request. There is a superb variety of meals available in our 'Dishlickers' Restaurant as well as a large selection of snacks. Full bar facilities available. Racing Information Thursday night meetings. There is a veterinary service available at all meetings. The kennel block is not air-conditioned but kennels are all one tier. The Club has a two week mandatory recess due to the Royal Hobart Show in late October. Nominations Nominations for meetings close at Greyhound Racing Tasmania on 03 6336 2464. Kennelling Time All races 6:00 - 6:55 pm for the first race at 7.38pm. Trials Trials are conducted on Mondays at 10:00am (1/12 - 30/4) & 11:00am (1/5 - 30/11), Tuesday Nights commencing at 7:00pm and after the last race on race nights. There are no private trials. |
